A kludge (or kluge) is a workaround, a quick-and-dirty solution, a clumsy or inelegant, yet effective, solution to a problem, typically using parts that are cobbled together. This term is diversely used in fields such as computer science, aerospace engineering, Internet slang,  evolutionary neuroscience, and cruise control.

Well, our kludge (aka kruise or cruise) is on the way to success and fun!

Not to slight our hosts who are providing us with docking space, but we're going to try something new this weekend, holding our get-together dockside and on our boats.

      • Bring something to grill on your boats grill (or some other boats grill)
      • Bring a dish to share
      • Carry plates and utensils from your boat to wherever you decide to eat
      • Bring your favorite beverage
      • Ice will be available
      • Beer will be available
      • Wine will be available

Clewless and Wanderlust have officially invited anyone to party on our boats, but feel free to have an open boat as well (ask before boarding someones boat though).

The following slips are available for our use 12-3, 12-5, 12-10, 12-14, 12-16, 12-17, 12-21, 12-25,6-47,6-43.

For now I have made the following assignments (subject to change when I get there):

12-3 Wanderlust
12-5 Clewless
12-10 Toucan

Otherwise, first come gets first pick.

When you are near to the harbor try me on VHF 72 (alternate VHF 68) or mobile 415-637-2008.

No plans for breakfast, but we can all mill around on dock with our coffee, tea, or .... forget it, I'm too old for that type of humor.
